Wyman C. Alderman went home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2017 at the age of 59 in Slidell, Louisiana at his home. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. Wyman was a mechanic at Alexander's Home and Auto in Pearl River, LA for many years. He then opened his own outboard motor repair business at his home in Pearl River, LA., which he was greatly known for. He had a passion for managing the Louisiana Marsh Lands. Wyman loved to be out on the water fishing, crabbing, or just being surrounded by the peacefulness of the bayou, whether it was with family, friends, or being alone. He enjoyed woodworking since his retirement and enjoyed making special pieces individualized for each person that he loved. His entire life was dedicated to helping and serving anyone in need. Wyman's world revolved around his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was a dedicated member of New Hope Baptist Church and loved Pastor Jim Boudreaux and the rest of his church family. He is preceded in death by his parents Clara and John Alderman. He is survived by his wife Laura Bladsacker Alderman, Daughter Wendy Alderman (Ashley) and their children Melody, Chasidy and Destiny Alderman, Son David Alderman (Heather) and their children Seth, Chelsey, Carson, and Logan Alderman, Daughter Katie Bladsacker, Brother Douglas Alderman, Mother and Father in law Barton and Florence Longman and a host of nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday August 9, 2017 at 7:00pm and Visitation from 4-7PM at Williams Funeral Home, 67525 LA 41, Pearl River, LA. 70452. In lieu of flowers please donate to his church, New Hope Baptist Church on Carroll Rd in Slidell, LA.
