William Lawrence

William “Mark” Lawrence passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 64, surrounded by family. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Lawrence, Monique Lacroix, Rebecca Wilson, and Kayla Lawrence. He was “PaPaw” to Marie Lacroix, Sapphire Robinson, Mackenzie Laurent, Christopher Drake, Kylah Goldhammer, Autumn Robinson, and Jewels Goldhammer; and he was brother to Timothy Lawrence, Jeane Fortner, Rachel Lawrence, Kevin Lawrence, and Edward Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his father, W.C. “Dub” Lawrence and his mother, Betty Jeane Mitcham Lawrence.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 12, 1957, Mark spent most of his childhood in Central Louisiana, before laying his roots in Covington, Louisiana, where he raised his four daughters. He will be remembered for his love of his family, playing Dungeon & Dragons with friends, jamming out to all things 70’s Rock, and watching any movie featuring John Wayne.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on July 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Abita Quail Farm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the American Kidney Fund.
