William Klopf

William James “Bill” Klopf entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the age of 76.

Beloved husband of Sybil Gandy Klopf for 51 years.  Devoted father of Jonathan Louis Klopf (wife Meghan) and Kevin Michael Klopf. Loving “Papa” of Michael James Klopf and Charles Benjamin Klopf.

Son of the late John Michael Klopf, Sr., and the late Ethel H. Taggart Klopf.

Brother of Charles Raymond Klopf, Ethel Klopf McConnell, and the late John Michael Klopf, Jr.

Also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Bill was a native of New Orleans and the owner of several business in the metro area. He and his family moved to Covington in 2009 where he gave up the city life for a more relaxed style of living. He swapped his printing presses for a carpentry shop doing woodworking that he loved so much. He enjoyed sitting by his pond throwing out a fishing line, but most of all spending time with his 2 adorable grandchildren.

Bill was a people person, a prankster, and a trouble maker, but he would do anything for anyone in need. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 on Thursday November 17, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation to start at 10:00 a.m.
