William Ernest Bucano

It is with great sadness to announce that William E. Bucano of New Orleans, LA passed away on January 25, 2023.  He was fondly known as Billy and Capt. Billy.  Billy was born to Cesar and Beverly Bucano on January 17, 1954.  He loved fishing and made his passion his occupation, owning and operating Titeline Charters out of Delacroix Island.    The beloved husband to Jane Bucano, father to Jyl Bucano (Edward Roth) and Pops to Zoey.  He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.  

The family would like to express their deepest thanks to Dr. Hana Safah with Tulane Cancer Center and Dr. James Carinder with Northshore Oncology Associates for the care that they have given him throughout the years.  

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Slidell, 4141 Pontchartrain Dr., Slidell, LA on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 9 AM with a service beginning at 10 AM.
