Wilbert "Bud" "Jay" Cameron

Wilbert (Bud) (Jay) Lee Cameron was born on September 3, 1946. To the late Lottie Bell and WR Cameron. In Bude MS.  He departed this life on October 29, 2018. At his home in Slidell LA. He was educated in Bude, MS. School system, and graduated from Liddy Mae Brown High School. He was baptized at an early age, at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Bude, MS. Wilbert was united in holy matrimony to Patricia Ann Fortenberry of New Orleans. There were no children from this union. Wilbert was an Electrical Engineer from Morton Thiokol of Moss Point, MS. On Monday October 29, 2018. The Lord called and Wilbert answered. He left this earthly life, and went on to his heavenly reward. He was proceeded in death by his parents Lottie and WR Cameron, and his sister Gloria Jean Cameron. He leaves to cherish his memories, his son Wilbert Cameron Jr. of Slidell, LA. Wilbert’s fiancée Pamela Ennols of Slidell, LA. Four grandchildren; Marquall Cameron, Catina Johnson, Shakendria Collins, and De’Andre Collins. His beloved step sons; Jamal Johnson of New Orleans, Kijuan Johnson of New Orleans, Kawasaki Triplett of Alabama and his God son Robert Hinton of New Orleans. His sisters; Velma Brown of Bude, MS. Josephine Cameron of Tampa, Florida, Eldora Joyner of Miami, Florida And a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends whose lives he touched. God opened his arms to embrace his child which gives us great comfort in knowing he will walk, smile, and be free. “GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN”
