Wendelyn Sliman

Wendelyn (Wendy) Gerette Sliman entered into the arms of Our Lord and Savior and greeted by her Dad in Heaven on September 24, 2023 at the age of 54, surrounded by her family. Wendy was the beloved daughter of Lorraine Romagosa Sliman and the late David Jude Sliman. She was the loving sister of Lauren Sliman Shallenberger (Kurt) of Houston, Texas and Leslee Sliman Bivalacqua (Brian Kendle) of Baltimore, Maryland. She loved her nieces and nephews, Greta Shallenberger, Peter Shallenberger (Madison), Ben Shallenberger, Zoey Bivalacqua, Julian Bivalacqua, Parker Bivalacqua, and her puppy Lucy. She was the niece of Gayle and Rusty Galle of Mandeville and Robert and Irene Romagosa of Denton, Texas. Wendy had special needs and loved her STARC family where she worked for 25 years. She loved bowling, dancing, music and going out to eat. She will be deeply missed by all who were graced by her presence.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday September 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church 125 E. 19th Avenue Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to The Northshore Food Bank 125 West 30^th Avenue Covington, Louisiana 70435 and STARC West 1705 Viola Street Mandeville, Louisiana 70448.
