Wayne William Foley, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 9, 2015. He was born in New Orleans on November 19, 1947.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite Johnstone Foley, and his father, Edward Maxwell Foley.
Wayne is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Foley Scaljon and husband Michael, and two grandchildren, Anna Grace and William Michael Scaljon, III; twin brother Daniel S. Foley and wife Angela, younger brother Father Augustine Foley O.S.B., and two sisters, Fabienne F. Cazalé, and Glynis F. Davis and husband Charles; by nephews and nieces John B. Cazalé V, Erin F. Schuhmacher and husband Collin, Kevin M. Cazalé and wife Lindsey, Elizabeth F. Bucher and husband Michael, Lauren M. Davis, Kelly N. Davis, Daniel S. Foley II, Michael A. Foley; and by great-nephews and nieces, Blaize, Riley, Mary Keating, Alex and Lillian.
Wayne attended St. Aloysious High School and Louisiana State University in New Orleans and received his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1974. He retired from the law firm of Barker, Boudreaux, Lamy, and Foley in December of 2012.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Joseph's Abbey, 75376 River Rd., St. Benedict, LA (north of Covington) 70457 on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Abbey.
