Vivian Anita Beaudoin

Vivian Anita Smith Jenkins Easterling Beaudoin, age 73, residing at Lacombe Nursing Home, (Native of Bogalusa) passed away peacefully January 5, 2023 with family by her side. She was predeceased by her former husband’s Carl David Beaudoin, William Henry Easterling and Delos Edward Jenkins. She was predeceased by her father Rennie Ervin Smith and her mother Dorothy Edith McNeese Smith. Her son Michael Christopher Jenkins and also by her siblings: Ray Smith, Bernice (Emile) Messina, Sydney (George) Graham, Nathaniel (Carolyn) Smith, Buddy (Marlene) Smith, Vergie (Roy) Corker, Katherine (Robert) Ordyne, Doris (Dennis) Thomas, Helen Messina, Elizabeth Smith.

She was survived by: Her daughter Amy (Porter) Strain, and three step-sons Brad (Yvonne) Beaudoin, Bryan (Angie) Beaudoin, Brett (Kathryn) Beaudoin, grandson Wesley (Kimball) Strain, two great grandchildren Ora “Honeybean” Strain, Kirby “Bubbadude” Strain, siblings:  Lucille (Harry) Lenel, Glenda (Johnny) Brousette, Alice (Howard) Campbell, Louise (Dave) Gentry plus three loving sisters-in-laws Sue (Richard) Ard, Louise (Wilbur) Adams, Ann (Billy) Quave and numerous nieces and nephews and family friends. 

She enjoyed family time with the grandkids, getting her nails done, shopping, working with flowers when she was able to. Loved her soap opras and gossip sessions with people. She could tell you what was happening around her without even leaving her room or home. She loved playing little jokes and games with people that she loved as well. She is going to be missed by so many people that she didn’t even realize it. She worked over 30 plus years as a waitress. Many of them at Grahams Café in Bogalusa and ending at the IHOP in Covington. She even worked as a florist for a few years in Bogalusa. She was a caretaker for loved ones at home when they needed her at their end also.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday January 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
