Virginia “Ginny” Elizabeth Bullitt Black Faircloth, age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, March 31st, 2018. She was proceeded in death by her husband Richard Charles Faircloth Sr, father William Grant Black Sr, mother Francis Keel Black, brother William Grant Black Jr, son Sean Christopher Black, and grandson Gabriel Gilbert Nine. She is survived by daughter Alexandra” Lexie” Faircloth Nine, son Richard Charles Faircloth Jr(Rachael), grandchildren Steven Alexander” Alex” Nine, Seth Michael Nine, Christina Raychel Black, Jacob Sean Black, Brandon Joseph Black, and Jesse Keel Black.
Ginny will be remembered for her sharp sense of humor and big heart. She was a bus driver for the St. Tammany Parish School Board where she touched the lives of children for over 25 years. She was known for her passions for gardening and cooking. Ginny was an avid reader, rarely found without a book in hand. She loved holidays and any other opportunity to have her family together. She had the innate ability to make anyone feel as if they were the most important person in the world to her. When not here at home in Slidell, she could be found at her second home at Disney World on It’s a Small World.
Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of a life well lived at Chateau Bleu 106 W Hall Ave, Slidell, LA 70460 on Saturday, April 7th at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you instead to bring your fond memories to share.
