Violet Young
July 23, 1923 — October 3, 2016
Violet Young was born on July 23, 1923 and lived a long and full life to the age of 93. On Monday, October 3, 2016, she passed peacefully into her eternal home, surrounded by her beloved daughter, Carmen Brawders of Folsom and loved ones.
The beloved wife of the late Tommy Young, she was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Connie Hiles. She is survived by her daughter, Carmen, her 2 sisters, Beulah Pheleps & Joyce Ruckman, and her grandson, Lee Hiles.
Violet loved her family, friends and church families. She loved the Lord and dedicated her life to serving Him. In earlier years she played piano, organ, sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. Her favorite songs were In the Garden & Amazing Grace.
Our special thanks to Hospice and her caregivers who provided amazing care and love for Violet. We were truly blessed to have them in our life.
