Mandeville

Thomas Michael Holland, 64, of Mandeville Louisiana, formerly of Waverly, Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Tom was born in Huntington, West Virginia on December 26, 1959 to Robert and Patricia Holland of Waverly, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, older brother, Bruce Holland and sister Deborah Holland.

Surviving are his wife, best friend and love of his life, Sheree (Svendson); beloved daughter, Erica Wolfe; grandson’s Carson and Shay Wolfe; step son Vincent Quatroy and step grandson; Damien Quatroy. Also surviving are his remaining brothers who loved and admired Tom for his kind heart and helpfulness: Mark (Elaine) of St. Louis, Missouri; Rick (Lynn) of Waverly, Ohio; and Joe (Teresa) of Athens, Ohio.

Growing up in Waverly as part of the “Hillside Gang”, Tom and all the brothers had an adventurous experience living life in the 70’s. Days spent at the Waverly Swim Club, baseball under the lights at East Elementary and riding wheelies up and down Hillside at night. As the brothers got older they still made time for each other, especially enjoying golf trips and visits home.

Tom graduated from Waverly High School as part of the Class of 1979 and later owned Cardo’s Pizza in Piketon, Ohio. He then joined his brother Bruce, moving to New Orleans and making it his home.

For those who had the good fortune to know and love Tom knew he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. Family was everything to him. He loved having his family over for BBQ’s, gardening, and taking small road trips or riding bikes down to Lake Pontchartrain with Sheree.

Tom never met a stranger or spoke badly about others, he was known to be soft spoken, funny, positive and most of all a kind and generous soul.

A small, private gathering to celebrate Tom will be held in Mandeville, Louisiana.
