Thomas Gibson

Thomas Gibson, a resident of Mandeville, LA for the last 40 years, passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 83.

Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Sherry Gibson.  Dedicated father to Troy Gibson and Suzanne Wandling and husband, Warren Wandling. Son of the late Thomas and Julia Gibson. His granddaughters, Hannah and Abigail Wandling were his pride and joy.

As an insurance agent he valued people and old-fashioned service. He was member and president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Greater New Orleans, Inc.

Thomas believed the best in people and delighted in making them laugh.  Beautifying his yard with day lilies, year-round azaleas and roses was his favorite pastime.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Bagnell Funeral Home, 75212 HWY 437 (Lee Rd), Covington, LA 70435 on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 11:30 am.  Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:30 am to service time.

A private interment will be held at Mandeville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Vietnam Vets.
