Theresa Leonard

Theresa Maria Leonard, age 73 passed away on September 16th 2021 surrounded by her family.
For many years she worked as a beautician. Later in her life she became a nurse and worked in nursing until retirement. She was a devout catholic attending mass regularly, and spending time in adoration.  She had devotions to the divine mercy, the sacred heart of Jesus, Immaculate heart of Mary, and the rosary.  She often volunteered at various churches over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Faith and family was what she lived for most. We will greatly feel the absence of our beloved Mother, Granny, Nanny, Sister, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria (Mary) Leonard, and Carl (Ray) Leonard.
She is survived by her Brother Carl Leonard (Lynn), Sister Ann Adams (Frank), children Mechelle Cox (Michael), Wayne Walton Jr (Andrea),  Jason Walton (Stephanie), Grandchildren Katie Dantagnan (Brent), Stefan Cox (Lauren), Ashley Hauch (Chris), Jill Walton (Casey), Emily Hauch (Devin), Dillon Cox (Beth), Leah Walton (Joey), Devin Walton, and numerous Great Grandchildren.  Nieces Alison Schaefer, Becky Adams, Sharon Sambola (Shane), Nephews Frank Adams Jr (Elisha) Steven Leonard (Samantha), Jeffery Adams (Natalie).
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass service on Tuesday September 28th 2021 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church located at 1501 W Causeway Approach, Mandeville La 70471 at 11:00am with visitation beginning at 10:00am until mass begins at 11:00am.
To send flowers to the family, we ask that they please be delivered by 9:00am. A private burial will be held at a later date.
