Theresa Gilmore

Theresa Gilmore passed away at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, Louisiana with her loving sister, Kay, by her side on February 2, 2024 at the age 79.

She was born in Wisner, Louisiana to the late Abner H. Gilmore and Myrtle DuBell Barringer. 

Theresa leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, her sisters, Kay Gilmore Strain and Lisa Gilmore Lier (Mark), as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. 

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, Abner H. Gilmore and Myrtle DuBell Barringer, her brother William David Gilmore and brother-in-law Oliver Strain.

She loved her family and her church family, as well as the friends she made while living at Roquette Lodge in Mandeville, Louisiana. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday February 9, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church 22139 Level Street Abita Springs, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. with a service to begin at 1:00 p.m. An Inurnment to follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery adjacent to Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435.
