Terry Lee Shaw, a vibrant and adventurous soul, was born on February 1, 1959, in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, in Mandeville, Louisiana, surrounded by the love of his family.

Throughout his life, Terry embraced a world enriched by travel, music, adventure sports, and the warmth of culture, family, and fellowship. His zest for life left an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Terry was also a deeply spiritual man; he was baptized at the First Baptist of Marrero and actively engaged with the community at Mandeville Bible Church, where he was known for his kindness and your radiating faith.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Stalcup Shaw, with whom he shared countless adventures and cherished memories. He was a devoted father to Jared Lee Shaw, and a loving father-in-law to Courtney Perkins Shaw. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Avery, Harper, and Beau. Terry is remembered fondly by his sisters Dawn Halcome, Denise Mosel, and Debra Holmes, as well as his brother David Shaw. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends who will carry forward the joyful spirit he instilled in their lives.

Terry was predeceased by his mother, Pansy Jean Shaw, and his father, Leo O. Shaw, who shaped his values and character throughout his formative years.

His life embodied the virtues of love, adventure, and kindness, making a profound impact on all who encountered him. Terry will be missed but never forgotten, as his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29th at the Pontchartrain Yacht Club, 140 Jackson Avenue Mandeville, La.70448 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
