Terrel Turner

Terrel "Terry" James Turner passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at his home, in Covington, LA, surrounded by his family. Terry was born on Tuesday, March 7, 1933 in New Orleans, LA to Gertrude Swoboda Turner and Lawrence J. Turner.
He was a graduate of St. Aloysius H.S. and retired from United Brands, formerly United Fruit Co., after 40 years of service.
Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Partlan Turner; his loving children, Cathy Turner Slumber, Carey Michael Turner (Laurie); Molly Turner Buckley (Darren); and Jimmy John Turner (Sharon); brother, Lawrence Paul Turner; sister, Sylvia Turner Scheuermann (Carroll); sisters-in-law, Elaine Smith, Blanche Partlan, Yvonne Spicuzza, Carol Scheuermann, and Patricia Burgard (Eddie); grandchildren, Stephen, Katey, Kelly, Elizabeth, Casey, Erin, Emily, and Ethan; and great grandchildren, Anna, Caitlin, Harry, Ryan, Adam, Vivian, Finn, Rory Terrel, and Luke.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Terry's Life in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 12:00 pm. Visitation from 11:00 am until service time.
