Steven Ose

Steven Eric Ose passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family upon his passing. Steven was 57 years old.  Steven is preceded in death by his father, William Joseph Ose, III. He leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Kathy Perez Ose, and 3 children, Gretchen Ose, Steven Ose, Jr. and Erica Ose. He was “Pappy” to Trinity Ose and Giana Ose. Steven was one of five children born to Myrna Zahn Ose, and the late William J. Ose III. Steve’s surviving siblings are William J. Ose IV (Billy), Ann Ose Rogers (Jimmie), Lydia Ose Gordy (Mike) and Kurt Ose. Steve’s lifelong passion has been buying, collecting and restoring old cars. Steve’s gifted craft and ultimate career was his unique ability to mix paint with creativity to transform something ordinary, into something extraordinary. He worked for Gnots Reserve, Inc. in Destrehan, LA for 10 plus years painting marine equipment. Through his career and hobbies, Steve has formed many close friendships. At this time the family would like to sincerely thank all of you for your loyalty, support and prayers. Your thoughtfulness & devotion meant a great deal to Steve and our family. There are no words to explain the sorrow we feel and how he will be missed by us all. A Small Memorial Service will be held in honor of Steve for family and friends to pay their last respects and offer condolences. Internment will be held at a later date.
