Stephen Ehrhard

Stephen Gerard Ehrhard, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 1, 2022.  Stephen was 53 years old.
Stephen lived a beautiful life, brought so much joy to so many, and never met a stranger.  Our special boy had a smile that could light up a room and was the kindest, purest soul you could ever know.

Stephen is survived by his mother, Jo Anne (Katz) Ehrhard, his father, Sidney C. Ehrhard Jr., his sister, Stephanie Ehrhard, his brother, Joseph Hurst, his nephew, Nicholas Ehrhard (Shelby), great niece and nephew, Piper and Brooks Ehrhard, his aunt, Suzanne (Katz) Farrar, his uncle, Richard Guthrie Sr., and a host of cousins and relatives.  He is also survived by his devoted care-taker of 21 years, Charlene Brown (Richard).  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clara (Tingstrom) Ehrhard, Sidney C. Ehrhard Sr., Dorothy (Callaghan) Katz, Captain Joseph T. Katz, an aunt, Clare (Ehrhard) Guthrie, and uncles, Frank Ehrhard, and Dr. Gresham (Tal) Farrar.
He will be forever missed by his friends, family, and all that knew him.

If you choose to join us in celebrating and honoring his beautiful life, please come as Stephen knew you.  Stephen never judged a soul in his life and accepted and loved everyone as they were.  We want to honor him as he lived his life...bright, fun, full of life, and through the innocent eyes of a child.

If you knew Stephen, you knew his drink of choice at all times was orange juice (his "beer"). In lieu of flowers, we ask that you plant an orange tree in his honor so that we can keep his spirit alive and make the earth a better place...exactly how he made his mark on all of us in life.

Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday, May 6, 2022 in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
