Stephanie Becker

Stephanie Ann Becker passed away on February 1, 2022.  She was born on November 20, 1969 in Metairie, Louisiana.  Stephanie is survived by her loving mother, Dale Becker of Mandeville, LA, her brother, Ross Becker, Jr. (Leslie), a niece and nephews as well as aunts and uncles.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ross Becker, Sr.

Stephanie had a unique personality and a great sense of humor.  She was able to persevere despite many obstacles and much adversity because of her strength and determination. Stephanie took great pride (and rightfully so) in the fact that she graduated from Grace King High School in 1987 after she and her parents were told by a teacher  that she would never graduate. She loved children and pets and treated them with much kindness and affection. Stephanie’s joy came from caring for others so she studied childcare at Delgado Community College. For many years she was employed as a nanny and loved every minute of working with children and families.

As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses she regularly spoke with others about God’s Kingdom and the blessings it will bring to the earth. One of her favorite scriptures was Revelation 21:4, “God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore…” Stephanie was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all. Her family, friends and roommates hold a special place in their hearts for our dear Stephanie…… She overcame so much to become such a wonderful and remarkable individual.
