Shirley Hoover

Shirley Husser Hoover of Folsom, LA passed away August 2, 2021 at the age of 89 surrounded by her family.  She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lexie Husser; wife of the late Frederick “Buddy” Hoover.  Preceded in death by her sons David Hoover Sr (Judy); Frederick “Freddie” Hoover (Pam); grandson Seth Hoover; great granddaughter Danise Lavinghouse; Sister to the late Emma Lee Morgan (Milton); Emille Husser (Sylvia); Ambrose Husser (Bonnie).  She is survived by a daughter Deborah A. Hoover, grand children Shane Lavinghouse, Josh and Gina prokasy, David Hoover, Jr. (June); Jennifer Houston (John); Kiley Daviston (Matt), and great grand children Gabe Prokasy, Davyn and Sean Hoover, Harper Houston, and Great Grandson J.J. Frasher, and a sister ReGina H. Bumgarner and many nieces and nephews.

She was retired from the A & P Co. where she had Worked for many years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held August 14th at 2pm at the Bennett Cemetery off of Hwy 1077.  Family and friends are invited.  In lieu of flowers you may send donations to the family to help defer medical expenses or to Live Oak Baptist Church C/O Jim Morris 21370 Hwy. 1062 Loranger, LA 70446.  In memory if Shirley Husser Hoover.
