Shelby Gilford Bush

Shelby Gilford Bush of St. Tammany Parish passed away on October 15, 2023 at the age of 76.

Shelby was a conservationist and  enjoyed the outdoors, spending time trailing thru the Appalachian Mountains, was a member of The Louisiana Hiking Club, The Bayou Haystackers Canoe and Paddle Club, The Louisiana Coon Hunters Associations and the Sierra Club.

Shelby leaves behind to cherish his loving memories, his loving children Cynthia Bush Johnston, Alex Gilford Bush, Dana Bush Bourque (Thomas), Trina Bush Zwolle (Mark) and his siblings; Jarrel Drew Bush and Sandra Louise Bush Jackson. He also leaves behind his precious grandchildren Samantha Kessinger (Jay), Kyle Morris (Kaylee), Melody Johnston, Mariah Johnston, Luke Ponce, Layne Ponce, Mason Bourque, Remi Bourque as well as three great grandchildren.

Shelby is preceded in death by his parents Horace Shelby Bush and Sylvia Lee (Ellis) Arrington and his son-in-law Charles Johnston.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Fleur De Lis Center 1645 N Causeway Blvd, Mandeville, LA 70471  on November 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. The family would like for you to come and share your love, memories and stories that you have to tell about Shelby.
