Sheila Louise Davis passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the age of 52. A native of Mississippi, she was born to parents Janet Faye Bullock Davis and the late Lewis Everett Davis and recently resided in Mandeville, Louisiana. She is survived by her mother, Janet Davis; children, Logan Scott Davis, Aspyn JoLeigh Davis, and Londen Johnson; siblings, Aritt Everett Davis (Keta) and Beau Chance Davis (Maegan); nephews, Renzy Davis (Alyssa), Riley Davis (MacKenzie), Wyatt, and Cameron; and nieces, Kadence, Rayden, Kamden, Annaleigh, Evelyn and Anna; and great-niece, MJ.
Sheila loved and admired all of her friends and saw the best in everyone. She had a big, amazing heart and was full of beauty and life on the inside and outside. Sheila's smile was so big it lit up the room. She loved her Old Mandeville community and had a tribe of friends that she loved like family. Sheila was also so thankful for all of the amazing people she met on this journey, as well as the ladies in her Bible study group. She made the statement that if she had not gotten sick then she would have never made her way back to God. Sheila had a beautiful soul that still cheered you on even when she was fighting her toughest battles. She was a shining light of love, always lifting others up with her open heart. Her love and light will continue to shine bright and her spirit will remain for eternity.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 with the service beginning at 6:15 PM on Lakeshore Dr. under the big Oak Trees, across from Coffee Street.
