Shawn Irene Shaw

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn Irene Shaw, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and brought joy to the lives of those around her for 47 years. Shawn's legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness that touched the hearts of everyone she met.

 

Shawn leaves behind a cherished family, including her children, Michael and Emily, her husband Robert Murphy, and their sons William and Benjamin. In addition to her immediate family, Shawn is survived by her mother, Lois Shaw, sister, Ladean Jenkins, and her husband Brian, along with their children Jesse Jenkins and Kim Jones, her husband Jonathan, and their children Weston, Mia, Jordyn, and James.

 

In her free time, Shawn found solace in her garden, nurturing life from the earth with a passion that mirrored her love for her family. Her infectious laughter had a unique ability to brighten any room, and she had a knack for finding humor in life's everyday moments. A true lover of literature, Shawn's love for reading was only rivaled by her fondness for listening to the soothing sound of falling rain and music. Her joy in the simple pleasures of life was contagious, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to share in her company. Shawn's compassion extended beyond her family to her beloved pets, whom she showered with affection and care.

 

As we remember Shawn Shaw, let us celebrate a life well-lived, a heart full of love, and a spirit that brought happiness to everyone she encountered. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, support, and unwavering love as a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
