Sharon Hull

Our dear mother, Sharon Kron Hull, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on June 30, 2022, at the age of 69, after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She had many dear friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Slidell, LA. She is survived by the father of her children, Dennis Hull, her son Bryan Hull (wife Kari) his children Lucas and Ellie, daughter Bridget Taylor (husband Nathan), her children Blaise, Rafe, and Aria.  She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Esther Kron and brother Kenny Kron, and is survived by siblings Fred Kron, Cliff Kron, Glen Kron, Phillip Kron, and Elaine McAndrew.

Sharon was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Slidell, LA in 1979, where she raised her family. Her children and grandchildren were her passion. She cherished all the time she spent with them, and was a beloved ‘Grammy’. Sharon went back to college at age 50, taught elementary school for a decade before retiring. She lived by the saying, “Let go, and let God”, and she was comforted by this until the end of her life. She never missed an important event in her children or grandchildren’s lives. She always stressed the importance of saying, “I love you” and always gave hugs on greetings and goodbyes. Her loving and caring legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service that will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 360 Robert Blvd., in Slidell, LA 70458, on Saturday, July 16th, 2022, from 2pm till 5pm to honor her memory and celebrate her life with loved ones. She will be forever missed by her family and friends.
