Sharon Duffourc

Sharon Chaisson Duffourc went to be with our Lord and Savior at the age of 53 after a long battle with Cancer on July 4, 2020.  Sharon was a loving mother, daughter, wife and beloved friend.

Sharon’s greatest joy in life was her children and spending time with her family brought her the greatest happiness.  She possessed a special love for dance that led her to a successful career doing what she loved as the office manager for Elite Dance in Covington.  Sharon was a beloved member of the Elite Dance Family and touched the hearts of every teacher, student and parent that walked through the doors.  Her sweet smile, reassuring hugs and openness to solve any problem earned her a special place in the hearts of many and she will be greatly missed.  Watching her daughters dance brought her pure joy and we will all continue to dance for “Momma Sharon”.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Lucresia Ann Chaisson.  She is survived by her father, Evano Chaisson Jr., husband, Greg Duffourc, three children, Ryan Croom (Amanda), Nicole and Amy Duffourc, one sister, Belinda Pauli, and two grandchildren, Evan & Evelyn Croom.

Sharon loved her closest friends like family.  Those friendships filled her life with tremendous support and love.  Each and every one of them was dear to her heart.

Services will be held in the chapel of Bagnell and Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana on Saturday, July 11.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00am.  Mass will begin at 11:00am.  Due to the current pandemic, Social Distancing regulations will apply.
