Shana Babin

Shana Karen Babin of Kenner, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the age of 45. Shana leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother, Sandra Pesses Loosemore (Raymond Loosemore), her father, Herbert “Jay” Babin, III (Mona Laiche).   Shana is also survived by her sisters; Bridgette Charbonnet, Christina Loosemore, her step-sister, Tammy Laiche, her godchild, Milan Richardelle, her godfather, Uncle David Pesses and Aunt Beth Pesses and her godmother, Helene Wohlman (Uncle Richie Wohlman); as well as numerous, cousins, nieces, nephews and her beloved Deja. Shana is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jules and Bella Pesses, her paternal grandparents, Herbert Babin, Jr. and Rhea Gessford, her bestie aunt Annette and her two puppies, Shadow and Chloe. Shana was a very caring and loving person. She had a love for music, butterflies, angels, and the color of purple.
