Scott Levelle Coyne

The family of Scott Levelle Coyne sadly announces the loss of their loving father, husband, and brother on January 31, 2024, at the age of 60. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 11, 1963 and was a proud Covington resident for 51 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Graciela Rodriguez Terrazas Coyne, his daughter, Rachael Coyne, Step Son Brian Broussard.  He also leaves behind his two brothers, Frank Coyne Jr. (Desiree) and Mark Coyne, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Scott is preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Marie Coyne, his parents, Frank Coyne Sr. and Elizabeth Hazelton Coyne as well as his sister Genelle Coyne Lang.

He attended Covington High School and was a member of the baseball team. He went on to receive his certification in air conditioning and refrigeration. For many years he was a maintenance engineer at local hospitals and nursing homes, as well as providing private air conditioning services. He had a generous spirit and enjoyed helping others. Scott thoroughly enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, hunting, gardening, raising livestock, and traveling to different countries. He was a very talented guitar player and music enthusiast. He will also be remembered for teaching his step-son, Brian Broussard to play the guitar. 

A private family Graveside Service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
