Samuel Western, III

Samuel Frank Western, III of Covington, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the age of 76. Mr. Samuel is survived by his loving wife Margery Western, his children; Crystal Western (Brad Marchand), Samuel Western (Emma Williamson), step-daughter Kimberly Howsome (John). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chase and Ava Peyronel and Bailey Marchand as well as his sister Kathy Gerard (Charles).

Sam was a Master Mason and Past Master of Albert Pike #376 Lodge and currently a member of Covington Lodge #1881. Sam was a member of and Past President of the Jerusalem Shriners Clown Unit. He loved entertaining as Sambo the Clown at the Shrine Circus and  helping the children of Shriners Hospitals for children. He was also a former member of the New Orleans Valley of Scottish Rite and served on the Grand Lodge Chef Committee.

Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Burial to follow in the Eternal Rest Cemetery.
