Sammy Reed

Sammy Joseph Reed, age 58 was taken to be with the Lord on June 2nd 2021. He passed in his sleep from a silent heart attack. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 28th 1962. He grew up in Kenner, Louisiana and was a resident of Harahan, Louisiana for ten years. Sammy was the son of the late Samuel L. Reed II, and the late Priscilla McKevitt Miller, the late stepfather Joseph V. Miller Sr., he is survived by his siblings, Dody Reed Lightel, Tammy Reed Bourgeois, Jimmie Hartman, Darryl Sauerwin, Joseph Miller Jr., Paul Miller, the late Gary Miller, Aletha Miller, Samuel L. Reed III- Step family, the late Mary Lou Reed (step mother) Gina Auslaender, Angelia Palazo, Lisa Pacheco, Johnny Palazo. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Sammy attended Bonnabel High School.
He was on the Kenner Fire Department for four years.
He was an electrician for 30 plus yrs.
His hobby was body building for many years.
