Sammy Louis Hern went to be with the Lord on Thrusday, March 23, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Juanita Motichek Hern, his daughters Amanda Hern Chapoton (Doug), Allyson Hern McMahon (Calvin ‘ Trip’), Ashley Hern Flippen (Derek) and his son, Andrew Louis Hern (Jenni) He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren that he adored and would love to have met his granddaughter or grandson in September. Sam loves God, his family and gardening, in that order.
I wish to thank the Hammond Nursing Home staff for their kind and compassionate care of him in the short time he was a resident.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Monday, March 27th @ 12 noon. Visitation will begin at 11 am in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435
