On October 8, 2024 Samantha Leeann Gaines, affectionally known as Sam, was reunited into the arms of her mother in heaven. Sam was a devoted young woman who held many admirable titles in her life, but her favorite role was being a mother. Her other most prized possession in her life was her loving husband. Her life was marked by her unwavering kindness and headstrong nature that saw her face life’s challenges with resilience. She had an infectious laugh and deep love for Jesus and her family. Sam’s most cherished memories were spent drinking her beloved coffee, sitting by a fire, listening to old country music with her family. She dedicated her life to her deep passion for the medical field. That lead to a short but accomplished career in orthopedics. She was admired and loved by her patients, colleagues, and physicians she assisted. Sam’s beautiful spirit will forever live on through her daughter Emery Kay.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:17-18
