In loving memory of Sally Ann Thomas Fradella born Galveston, Texas, November 14, 1934, Sally’s Guardian Angel carried her home on December 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Sally was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, aunt and great aunt.
She was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Frank C. Fradella, her parents, William E. Thomas and Ruth Mae Sicard.
She is survived by her sister Ruth Ann Bianchini (Ronald) and brother Daniel S. Sicard, III (Marie) her five children; Lisa Marie Fradella, L. Casey (Cheryl) Fradella, Sand A. Fradella, Frank Thomas Fradella and Rory E. (Mary) Fradella, her seven grandchildren: Celeste (Brandon), Amanda, Frank (Romy) and Christopher (Shana) Relle, Garrett (Hannah) and Gabriel Fradella and Jetzy
Willow Fradella, her niece and nephew Ryan (Shannon) and Allyson Bianchini, Debra (Ricky) Campbell, Bob Haulk and Ricky Haulk (dec). She is survived by her grand niece Stacey Haulk and grand nephew Riley Banchini. Her beloved Dolly greeted her at the pearly gates.
Sally was a loving homemaker enjoying many pursuits as a master seamstress, a gourmet cook, a watercolor artist, floral designer and antique collector. She was a member of the Twilight Garden Club, St. Cletus Catholic Church and Lord Teach Me to Pray. Sally said education was a lifelong endeavor; she was always seeking to educate herself and learn about the world around her. Sally
was a New Orleans licensed tour guide and enjoyed meeting many visitors to the City. Sally thoroughly enjoyed doing “step-on bus tours” around New Orleans. Sally was self taught and well versed in catholic doctrine. She was instrumental is assisting new members entering the catholic faith, always helping fellow Catholics in getting closer to God and Jesus. Sally was a faithful servant in both St. Anthony and St. Cletus Parishes. Sally was instrumental in securing a Statue visitation to St. Cletus for the International Pilgrimage Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima.
Sally had unwavering faith and dedicated her life to God and truly believed in the power of prayer. She was an active participant in social and community activities. She leaves a legacy of mindful service to family and friends and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on January 11, 2024 at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 3600 Claire Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana 70053 with visitation from 10:00 A.M until the funeral mass at 11:30 A.M. Interment to follow in the All Saints Mausoleum, Lake Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery 5100 Ponchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, Louisiana 70124.
