Ruth Ann Allo Waguespack passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Covington on Sunday, November 26, 2017. She was born in Marrero and was a longtime resident of Covington, Louisiana.
Beloved wife of the late Edgar Raymond Waguespack, Sr., she leaves behind her daughter, Desirée Waguespack Maestri and son, Edgar Raymond Waguespack, Jr. She is survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Waguespack was born on May 15, 1933 in Marrero to the late Joseph Peter Allo and the late Agatha Allo Himel and was predeceased by a brother, Murphy P. Allo. She is also survived by her brother, Larry Himel.
Mrs. Waguespack was a Registered Nurse and 1954 graduate of Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in New Orleans.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Bagnell & Sons Funeral Home,75212 Lee Road, Covington, Louisiana 70435 on Saturday, December 9, 2017, beginning at 9:00 a.m., with services beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
