Ruth Sharp

Ruth Sharp passed away on Saturday March 11, 2107 at the age 86. Lifelong resident of Covington, LA. Loving wife of the late Leonard Sharp and daughter of the late Ollie Blow Mclain and Gordon Revere, sister of the late Marguerite Revere Jenkins, Gordon “Buddy" Revere, and Barbara Ann Jenkins Cable.  Ruth is survived by her four children, Donald Sharp (Lynn), Robert Sharp (Kyron), Michael Sharp (Kathy), and Linda Husser (Ed). And by her grandchildren Robby Sharp (Melissa), Candice Lemons (Joey), Mikie Sharp (Annastacia), Leslie Couvillion (Blake), Donald Patrick Sharp (Sara), and Donna Sharp, her brother and sisters, Richard Jenkins, Judy King and Lucille Cooper Also survived by her 12 great grandchildren; Courtney, Rhett, Ryan, and Mason Lemons, Layne, Lync, and Anya Sharp, Braidyn Couvillion, Austin Rodriguez, Emmalyn and Brynlee Terranova, and Violet Ruth Sharp. Ruth will be missed by so many. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at 1:00 pm at New Zion Baptist Church, 17387 New Zion Church Rd, Covington, LA 70435.
