Rose Mary Knight

With deepest sorrow we announce that our beloved mother, sister, family member and friend, Rose Mary Brown Knight, joined her Lord and Savior on Friday July 7, 2023 at the age of 82. Rose Mary was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 9, 1940.

Rose Mary will be missed by her daughter-in-law Debby Sue Knight, her son Denis Ray Knight (Misty), her daughter Patricia Ann Sumrall (Mike), her sister Marie Hunt (Roy), her grandsons, Travis Knight (Amber), Joshua Knight, Aiden Knight, Braxtin Knight, Matthew Hughes, Michael Sumrall and Auston Sumrall, her granddaughters; Jessica Taylor, Gabrielle Taylor, Lexie Gray, Brylee Knight, Amanda Creel, Bridgette Robertson, Rylee Prebe, Shyanne Knight, Tara Prats, as well as; her 15 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, her nephew, her niece, and many great friends.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Joseph Brown, her mother, Anna Mae Brown, her sons, Alvin Leon Knight, Jr. and Donald Paul Knight, and her granddaughter, Carrie Knight, who met her at the gates of heaven. Rose Mary will be remembered by her loving and compassionate spirit. She will live on in our minds and hearts forever.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.  in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial to follow in the Barker McManus Cemetery.
