Rosalyn Mix

Rosalyn Casey Mix, 76, a resident of Covington, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2020, surrounded by her two daughters and three granddaughters. She was born on October 5, 1943 to James and Leah Casey (deceased). She married her late husband, Felix Mix Jr. on January 19, 1963. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Mix Freeling (Bobby) and Kasey Mix Hosch (Mark), as well as her four grandchildren, Natalie Hosch King, Lauren Hosch, Victoria Freeling, and Miles Freeling. Rosalyn went by many names in her life, including Rose, Sissy, Tallula, Mom, and Grammy. She enjoyed attending plays at the local theatre, eating out at restaurants with her family, and watching the Saints play on Sundays. She leaves her family with wonderful memories of talking too loud in the movie theatre, drinking grape slushes from Sonic, and trips to Walmart and Sam’s. She loved her family unconditionally, and the memory of her kind, warm, and sassy self will stay with them forever. Rosalyn requested that no service be held in her honor.
