Ronald Clarence Watson

Ronald Clarence Watson of Mandeville, Louisiana passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 82. Ronald was born to Charles Joseph Watson Sr. and Althea Ybos Watson on October 31, 1941 in Bucktown, Louisiana.

Ronald leaves behind to cherish his precious memories, his loving Wife, Judith Morel Watson of 62 years. His Children Joshua Watson (Daphne), Mark Watson (Karen), Matthew Watson, Kim Stevens (Michael), Kelly Watson (Darlene); His Brother Charles Joseph Watson Jr. (Jacob Kerth) as well as 16 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Ronald was a Mandeville Volunteer FireFighter, founder of the Big Bear Sandwich Shop. Founder of the Big Bear Ace Hardware, and also founded Big Bear Snowballs in Bucktown, LA. Outside of his entrepreneuring spirit Ronald enjoyed and had a talent for woodworking and carpentry. He was an animal lover, especially dogs. He loved boiling seafood and shucking oysters. Above all, Ronald greatest accomplishment was being a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Provider for his family whom he loved greatly.

A private Celebration will be held by the family on a future date.
