Roger Charrier

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger James Charrier of Covington, LA. He died at the age of 70 on September 8th, 2022. Roger passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Roger joined the Merchant Marines at a very young age. It was this experience that fostered not only his love of the ocean but also his passion for fun and adventure. He was a fabulous story teller and he loved to share a laugh. Everyone who met “Rog” was affected by his easy-going, charming personality. He was an outstanding man who will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Delle Charrier, his son, Logan Charrier, his two daughters, Jodi Charrier and Kelly Charrier Cavallo, grand-daughter Bella Charrier and his sister, Melanie Charrier. There will be a celebration of life held on Monday, September 19th in the courtyard of the Seiler Bar in downtown Covington from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
