Rodney “Bubby” Weiskopf, Jr. passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the age of 64. A native of St. Bernard Parish until hurricane Katrina to where he resided in Spring, Texas for the past 15 years. Rodney is survived by his wife of 45 years, Robin “Conrad” Weiskopf, children; Rodney III and Kristina Weiskopf, Ashlee and Robert Nanez as well as four granddaughters; Olivya, Ella, Anastasia and Zowie. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Kim Buras, Todd and Shari Weiskopf, Richard Luscy, Emile “Sidney” Conrad and Wayne and Charlene Conrad. Godfather of Kurt, Tiffany, Todd Jr., Oscar Jr. and Justin. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories a host of nieces and nephews. Rodney is preceded in death by his parents; Rodney “Turk” and Dorothy “Dot” Weiskopf, his in-laws; Emile and Enola Conrad, sister Lydia “Jeannie” Luscy, sister-in-law Sylvia Conrad and brother-in-law Gene Buras. Rodney was an employee with XPO Logistics for over 25 years. He was the life of the party and lived every day to the fullest. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Family and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Memorial Mass on February 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 2621 Colonial Blvd. Violet, La. 70092 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Inurnment will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
