Rodney Henry

Rodney Henry, the son of Rose Mary Foucher and the late Clarence Henry, Sr., was born on November 27, 1955 and departed this life on December 16, 2024. Beloved Husband of Karla F. Henry, Father of Charles (Kajah-West) Farve, II and Marcus (Kamaliah) Farve. Grandfather of Kayleigh and Charles Farve, III. Brother of Chris (Mary) Henry, Dernattel Foucher, Lynn (Dymous) Henry, Antionette Cambré, Consuella (Bryon) Matthew, Marlene (Earl) Williams. Brother-in-law of Pamela Davis, Lisa (Henry) Byrd, David (Lisa) Honoré, Karl (Nequita) Ricard, Rodney (Sabrina) Boyd, Yolanda Jackson, Willie Ricard, Gary Honoré and Mary Henry. Godfather of Heather (Russell) Roberts, Bryoni Cambre’ (Fin) Prentice and Anaya Yunusah. Devoted Friend of Shemyka Hayes and David Caruso. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Henry Sr., his brothers Clarence Henry, Jr. and Byron Henry and one sister Sharon Green.

Rodney was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He graduated from Alcee Fortier High School in 1974. He was employed by the New Orleans Saints for 30 years and served as personal assistant to Gayle Benson and the late Tom Benson. Rodney was also an employee of the Orleans Parish Criminal Court and served as an assistant to Arthur Morrell. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday December 19, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. with expressions at 8:45 a.m.
