Robert Gueringer
January 12, 1941 — December 3, 2014
Robert Edward Gueringer passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the age of 73. Robert was born in New Orleans, LA on Sunday, January 12, 1941. He was a longtime resident of Uptown New Orleans, the Lakefront, Mid-city and Metairie, LA and most recently, of the Ponchatoula and Hammond area.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Kutac Gueringer; and his parents, Dorothy Winifred Cockrell and Emmanuel Joseph Gueringer.
He is survived by his son, Michael Drew Gueringer; daughter-in-law, Katie M. Gueringer; sister, Dorothy Donnelly; niece, Colleen Lousteau and nephew, Kenneth Donnelly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6666 Spanish Fort Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 10:00 am. Visitation at the church from 9:00 am until service time.
Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
