Robert Lee Butler

Robert Lee Butler, 55, of New Orleans, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2024.

Robert, loving father, brother and friend was an elevator mechanic who followed in his father’s footsteps.

He loved nothing more than boiling seafood, frying turkeys and being around the people he cared about. He loved to fish, being on or around the water since he was old enough to walk. He loved to go mud riding with friends and belonged to several clubs over the years.

He started his career in elevators at a young age working for Otis Elevator, following his dad, and loved it so much eventually starting his own company.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents William “Buddy” Robert Butler and Catherine Falcon Butler, who we are sure were so very happy to welcome him with open arms, even if far too soon.

He is survived by his 3 loving children Robert Patrick (Molly), Brady Ney and Sofia Jennifer. His sisters Lois Lanier (O.W.) and Sayann Lovell. His nieces and nephews who loved him very much, Michael, John, Danae, Catherine, Shana and Christine and numerous great nieces and nephews. He also loved his fur babies Laverne and Lucy.

A Celebration of life will be held to celebrate Robert’s life on January 13, 2024 at 5521 West End Blvd. New Orleans, Louisiana 7021 at 12 noon.
