Rickey Garcia

Rickey Lee Garcia passed away on June 23, 2020 at the age of 63.  He was born in New Orleans to the late John L. Garcia, Jr. and Joycelyn Dubuc Garcia on July 17, 1956.  He is survived by his children, Heather G. Slagle (Corby), Jonathan L. Garcia, and Heidi M. Garcia; his grandsons, Logan A. Slagle and Nolan R. Slagle; his siblings, Evie G. Olver, John L. Garcia III, Evelyn G. Finney, Deborah G. Montreuil, and Donna G. Labiche; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rickey was a graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School and attended Northwestern State University where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order.  He went on to graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University.  Rickey was a proud member of the Krewe of Thoth and an avid LSU and Saints fan.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
