Richard Bruce Glass

Richard Bruce Glass was born on June 30, 1947, to Revis and Grace Glass in Pineville, Louisiana. He passed away on June 22, 2024, in Abita Springs, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra Fay Glass, brothers Jim Glass, Ted Glass, Bobby Glass, Billy Glass, James Afford, and sisters Donna Glass Williams, Joyce Ann Glass and many nieces and nephews.

Richard worked as a surveyor’s helper, construction worker, landscaper’s helper, painter and meter reader. He also worked for many years at Cole’s Rental World in Mandeville and Regal Theaters in Covington. But the thing he was most proud of was his ministry as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Richard was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1969. He shared his faith with whoever he met. His faith in a future paradise as promised in the Bible kept him going through these last two difficult years after his stroke.

The family would like to thank “Louisiana Heart of Hospice” for their loving care of Richard and all the doctors, nurses and sitters who cared for him.

Services will be on Saturday July 27th at 6 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 90 Gardenia Drive, Covington, Louisiana.
