Richard Ray Corder

Richard Ray Corder of Slidell, Louisiana passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Richard was a loving husband to his wife Susan Sykes Corder and a very caring father to his daughter Rose Corder. 

Richard served in the United States Army and worked for the Department of The Navy as a supervisor of shipbuilding.  When personal computers came on the scene, he was the go-to guy for computer advice. 

After Richards retirement, he enjoyed helping his neighbors with mechanical projects, rebuilding car engines, if he did not have the parts on hand that he needed, he would build one.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking road trips, as well as spending many hours involved with his community. 

Richard enjoyed eating at the Good Eats Café on a regular basis to share breakfast with many friends he has endured over the years.
