Richard Gino “Dick”Bruchi died September 4, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Anderson Bruchi; three children, Blake Bruchi, Kristian Bruchi (Jennifer), Jared Bruchi; eight grandchildren, Brendon Bruno, Brianna Bruno, Sophia Bruno, Angelle Bruchi, Gaven Arceneaux, Bailey Ledet, Reece Bruchi and Brycen Bruchi; a sister, Prima Carol Fritscher; sisters-in-law Linda Allston (Mike), Rose Marie Anderson, Marvia Corbin (Eddie) and Ginger “Gigi” Anderson; daughter-in-law, Theresa Kennedy as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents the late Gino Bruchi and Victoria Roche, brother-in-law, Joseph Prentiss Anderson, Jr., and Al Fritscher.
Dick was born in New York but migrated to the South and quickly made it home after serving in the U. S. Air Force. His career as a project manager in the oilfield often allowed him to travel to many places around the globe. He never met a stranger and brought laughter to all he met.
Dick was a member of Woodland Presbyterian Church in Algiers, La. He loved and was loved by his family and will be sadly missed. We have suffered a great loss but are comforted by the fact heaven has gained a new star.
Friends and family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, La. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m., services at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Woodland Presbyterian Church, 5824 Berkley Drive, Algiers, La.
