Richard Bell

Richard “Ricky” R. Bell of Slidell, Louisiana passed away on August 8, 2021 at the age of 64.  He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Kathleen McIntosh and Lawrence A. Bell on June 19, 1957. Ricky served in the United States Navy and later became a river boat captain on the Mississippi River. He spent most of his life on the water and took great pride in his job.

He is preceded in death by his loving step-father, Raymond McIntosh, Jr and brothers Larry Bell and Michael Bell. Ricky is the beloved father of Jennifer Bell (David), Jessica Bell (Chad) and Richard L. Bell (Rebecca); step-father of Brittany Galatas (David); proud grandfather of Dyllan, Raimond, Makayla, Laila, Michael, Brendon, Matthew, Davielle, Richie and Rayleigh. He is the brother of Kathleen Bell, Raymond McIntosh III and Kevin McIntosh.

Ricky will be deeply missed. Burial will take place at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, Louisiana on August 25, 2021 at 12:30pm.
