Ricardo Augusto Putzeys Alvarez passed away May 31, 2023, at the age of 85.  Ricardo was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on October 12, 1937, to Julio Augusto Putzeys and Carmen Alvarez Putzeys

Ricardo was preceded in death by his parents Julio and Carmen Putzeys and his Brother-in-law Luis Felipe Carrascosa

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving spouse Elsa Maria Putzeys. His Children Ana Lorena Putzeys Meyers (Robert) Louis Meyers Jr. and Martin Ricardo Putzeys. Siblings Roberto Putzeys Alvares (Valentina Carrillo Putzeys), and Yolanda Putzeys Carrascosa. Grandchildren Gabriela Christina Putzeys Crosby, Nathan Alexander Meyers, Loren Elizabeth Meyers and Great Granddaughter Emma Marie Crosby

He enjoyed swimming, soccer, and music. He loved his family and pets. He used whatever time he could doing family activities and attending church. He will be dearly missed.

A service will be held in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Highway 437 (Lee Rd) Covington, Louisiana 70435 Friday June 9, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Westlawn Memorial Park 1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, Louisiana 70056
