Reed Marvin Pringle (also known affectionately as “Grumpy”), age 71, a resident of Covington, Louisiana, passed away in his home on Monday, January 4, 2021. He was born on February 6, 1949 in Biloxi, Mississippi to the late Frank Ernest Pringle and the late Bertha (Egan) Pringle and is preceded in death by his brother William E. “Bill” Pringle and his nephew Blair E. Pringle. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Robin (King) Pringle; his stepson Keoni Mauna Kea Keliikoa, his beloved grandchildren Isabella Aileen Keliikoa and Waylon William Keliikoa; his sister Kay Pringle Semski, his
brother Frank Pringle, Jr. (Mary), his sister-in-law Becky Pringle; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Born in the south, he ventured a few other places, but returned to Louisiana to make his home. Reed enjoyed sailing, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Though he was a man of few words, his emotions abounded, and everyone who came in contact with him regarded him as a straight-forward and honest man. Reed and Robin shared a life together that provided true friendship, love, and partnership. The memories they created together are only shadowed by the laughter they shared over the years. His tenacity and resilience sustained him; his wife’s vitality nurtured him. A celebration of
life will be held at a later date. The family invites you to share fond memories and condolences online at www.bagnellfuneralhome.com
