Raul Pelaez

Raul Rolando Pelaez Sr. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the age of 78. A loving father to Raul Pelaez Jr. (Cindy) and a devoted “Abuelo” to his grandchildren Isabel Pelaez and Raul Pelaez III. He was proceeded in death by his parents Rolando and Maria Pelaez and his wife of 50 years, Patricia Sewell Pelaez.

Raul was a dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. Raul never met a stranger. He was always willing to have a conversation with anyone he would meet. A great storyteller with an infectious laugh that would brighten any room he was in. He enjoyed working on cars beside his son, going out to eat and telling his grandchildren stories of his life when he lived in Cuba. He will be greatly missed by all that was lucky enough to know him.

Raul’s family, friends, customers and loved ones are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
